About Me

Adam D. McCoy, OHC
77 years old, early medievalist by training, monk for 50 years. Author of the history of OHC in the 1980's. I was a monk-not-in-residence and parish priest 1992-2008, during which I was also a police chaplain and ministered in Spanish. From 2013-20 I was a member of Mount Calvary Monastery in Santa Barbara, where I was Prior and Librarian. I am now semi-retired and living a solitary life by choice, near Palm Springs, CA. "Love must act as light must shine and fire must burn" (James Huntington, founder of OHC).
